When the DX 11 Cards hit?..

DX11 will be in full motion in 2010 though.

Its actually being implemented onto Vista? I would have thought Microsoft would have tried to encourage people into Windows 7 and try and let Vista quietly die.

I would have said dx11 would be something that Microsoft would try to be advertising the heck out of with Windows 7 :)

Sheeesh, you Vista hater's, 7 is better, or at least the little fiddle I've had with it it seems that way anyway, but Vista getting labelled like Win ME is plain unfair.

i kinda agree.. vista in my experience was far better than xp.. imo most people disliked vista not because of initial driver problems but because they didnt want to upgrade their PC's to run vista when xp was good for their needs. also that DX9 gaming never really left.. and people didnt like the fps drops of DX10..

I think people found it too easy to slate Vista and attack Microsoft. There's nothing wrong with the product, per se, and the 64-bit version is much better than XP64, there just simply wasn't enough in there to warrant forking out for this version is XP was still working fine for you. Coupled with the fact that Vista needed a heftier system to run and the confusion caused by having so many different versions available (why Windows can't just sell one version that has everything, I don't know), people just had a rant at Bill.

Personally, on the fact of it, I can't see a great deal that 7 offers that Vista doesn't. Sure there's a couple of tweaks etc but nothing worth £70-£100.

The difference between win7 and vista is negligable for most people to be honest. On a side note, have we noticed that vista now supports dx11?

Is that a question or a statement? Does it support DX11 yet? Not that it matters for me since I only recently got a new DX10 card since my old one blew about a month before the 5xxx series was released. :-/
