can you lot recommend me a decent 939skt motherboard that is under £70.
it seems lik my one has decided to die on me.
unless someone here knows how to fix this problem.
i turn the computer switch on.
all fans and lights go up.
gfx card fan (sounds like a hair dryer during boot)
but nothing appears on the screen.
the screen is fine, and screen cable is fine because ive tested them on another computer.
gfx card is fine and so is RAM, RAM tested in another system, and gfx card is brand new.
ive tried everything, resetting the cmos, nothing attatched, 1 stick of 100% fully operational RAM, no drives, but still no signal going to the monitor.
Board runs very cool, chipset reaches 40C ,when it works that is.
board is asus a8n32 sli deluxe.
before this happened i havent installed anything else, i havent had it overclocked in about 3 months, and have actually had it running on cool n quiet most of the time (1ghz).
it would probably be easier to just buy a whole new set-up, but i have basically everything already, just a faulty motherboard (in my opinion.)
either i get help here, or i take it to pcworld!which i dont want to do :(
