Window Size

Currently having an issue with changing window sizes and icon positions.

It only seems to happen with my user folder (containing pictures, documents, downloads folders etc.). I set the window size and position to what I want and I set the icon size and the order of the icons to what I want, sometimes (apparently randomely) they all change back to a default.

I know its not exactly a big problem but does anyone know how I can sort this? or at least change the "default" so its what I want?

Please ensure that you have backed up your data before adjusting the registry as described below.

Try the following:

Click START
Type REGEDIT and press ENTER.
If you are asked if you wish to continue then allow it.

Click the [+] next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
then Software
then Classes
then Local Settings
then Software
then Microsoft
then Windows
then Shell
Find BagMRU and right-click on it.
Click on DELETE


Click the [+] next to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
then Software
then Classes
then Local Settings
then Software
then Microsoft
then Windows
then Shell
Find Bags and right-click on it.
Click on DELETE

Now shut windows down and restart it.
Now try setting your icon and windows sizes again and see if they remain.
