I'm looking at buying windows 7 home premium - retail version but am a bit baffled

I upgrade my computer quite often and just wanted to check whether this will cause any problems next time i change my motherboard or gpu or memory etc

Any help appreciated because microsoft seems to have buried this info

Won't be a problem. You will just have to call MS and get them to reactivate your product to your new motherboard when you got to reinstall.

With retail versions you get 5 reinstalls before you have to phone MS. well 4 reinstalls and 1 install
