I think I only ever saw the preview to this a few years back and I'm pretty certain it was for a regular American film.

The premise was that the planets aligned giving one guy an amazing amount of luck. Such that the FBI or something started to keep track of him.

He kept evading them, but I'm not sure if they caught him in the end.

Does anybody know what it is?

You're the second person to suggest that but that's not what I meant.

Phenomenon's where he has a special ability through a brain tumour I think. My sister loved that film so much she dragged me to see Michael. Since then, I've never given her an xmas card.
