All up and running, no problems for me..
Tell a lie, it would not read my ATI4890 so would freeze, had to dig about for my old graphics card, was a paint but well worth it :D

Good to hear. I didn't have a problem with my 4870 (till it expired) but I did not let it install the windows update driver and got mine from AMD sorry ATI.

Erm software in which respect? AV I use MS security and that's about it really. VMware for virtualising. Windows 7 Codec pack by Shark007, if x64, grab the x64 componentes. For media playback.
Lucky my card was still (by 6 days) in warrenty. I have sorted an RMA.

Yeah, some of the drivers it downloads are junk.
Especially Ethernet ones.
Oh, and it thought my internal card reader, connected via a USB header, was some form of Infrared port... that was weird.
Other than that, its nice innit

Ooooo im looking forward to putting Win7 on my pc, currently running Vista x64 so things can only go up eh!?
Only messing, really for me Vista has been good, i've had very few problems at all and my install is getting rather old and its still running fairly smoothly. With all the talk about 7 i have high hopes :)

I disagree, I liked Vista too. I do prefer W7 now though. Vista was just fine after about 6 months and you could get the hotfixes and drivers improved.

Agreed.
Vista, and now 7, are a much improved interface. They look alot sexier than the big, bold blue and green, or silver of XP.
7 is nice and snappy.
The only issues I've had so far are with older programs.
Anything recent it just laps up.
