I don't think so. The chipset's with PCI-E came around after Socket-A had reached its lifetime.

why do you want to know, if your gonna go for pci-e then upgrade the mobo and cpu, dont lagg behind :twisted:

AGP's transfer rate is sufficient enough anyway.
Unless of course you wanted to use SLI, in which case you should upgrade your pc first :p

AGP is good if you have a good enough board, some boards dont allow certain speed AGP cards.
true PCI-E needs a computer upgrade and is only really a worth while upgrade if you are thinking of SLI or CrossFire

No, there is no PCI-Express solution that has Socket A CPU technology.

thats why i said that you need a computer upgrade, mobo and cpu
