Hi there I bought a novatech barebones bundle last year and decided to add some ram at the time i had 1GB so i decided to increase it to 2GB for the time being so i bought the ram from crucial DDR 400 1GB stick and loan behold it doesnt work in my PC so i called Crucial and they said it should have they suggested upgrading my bios so i thought outstanding (lets go kill my PC) So i done a fair bit of reading and hunting for my motherboard bios etc, so i flashed it everything went fine till i tried to boot up i got to the windows splash screen then my pc dies black screen i have tried flashing it several time but still the same result i can restore the old bios and everything is fine apart from the ram not working i was wondering if anyone had any tips or pointers incase im missing something my motherboard is a Winfast 6150K8MA-8KRS im also running windows xp pro 64bit could this be the problem
