1GB Gainward 'GS' HD4870....

Not really a problem as such, but I lucky enough to have had the use of an extra 4870 this weekend however, when I went to see if I had a Crossfire bridge connector inside the box of my Gainward 4870 it wasn't there, everything else was, just not the bridge.

:(

Please tell me I'm right in thinking that a Crossfire Bridge should have been supplied.

If not, how do I go about getting one?

Hi there

They tend to be supplied with the motherboards. Some graphic cards come with them and some do not.

Last time I looked for some I found the last two Nova had, but if you give the tech guys a ring they might be able to see if they have any for you.

I had one with my Sapphire 5850, but only got SLI bridges with my mobo.

I just had one delivered this morning, no crossfire cable either. Aparently you only need one, so if you got one with your mobo or other gpu you *should* be ok

I am uncertain if I did or not but I did with my other card. Which is awaiting an RMA STILL (not nova).

No luck with the Tech guys. Not to worry, don't have the other card for Crossfire now anyroads, it was only on loan for the weekend for testing.
