Any ideas as to how to get this netbook to connect to my home network?
If I connect directly (wired connection) enter the password, the message pops up that it couldn't connect. Then when I try to access the internet it is working but still showing that it could not connect.
I get exactly the same message pop up when I try using WiFi connection but it doesn't establish a connection at all. I am now at a loss as to what to try next.

Did you buy the unit with Windows 7 pre installed or did you install your own OS?

If you did install your own OS, what OS are you using.

Finally are you using a router, which I think you are if you have tried to connect to the web wirelessly. If you are, have you tried plugging the unit directley into your broad band just in case your issue it based on the a router setting.

If you cannot connect to the directly when you know your internet conection is working properly then I would check that you have all the right drivers installed correctly.

I bought it with windows 7 Starter edition already installed.
I have downloaded the latest drivers for the atheros wireless adaptor (version 8.0.0.238) via windows update and installed them by using the wired connection, but still cannot connect by WiFi.
