this voids warranty
if gpu card doesnt have fan on, dont do this
needs a good cooling solution

firstly ONLY Nvidia cards do this
start>run......REGEDIT..........>ok>h key local machine>software>nvidia corporation>global>nvtweak
on nvtweak dont go any further!!!
right click>new "dword"value>rename as "coolbits"
right click on "coolbits">modify, set "value data" to 3 and set "base" to decimal
exit out of the registry
right click on screen background
settings>advanced, click on your gpu>clock frequency settings>set to overclock,accept terms>windows detect...>test settings>apply

this made my machine run smoothly on bf2, no more gpu lag
btw, once you have the optimum settings, reduce them by 10mhz, this ensures that you wont over load the gpu and make it melt

I use Rivatuner http://www.guru3d.com/rivatuner/ ... there is much more to be had from most Nvidia cards if you do a bit of homework...

You should give it a go ... I used it to unlock some extra pipelines and shaders in my 6800LE ... and now it flies like a flying thing...

My card is a 128mb 5200, i dont think much more performance could come out of it.

Actually it only voids the warranty when it goes over the manufacturers rated speeds. And not every card is shipped with the correct manufacturers speeds, ie my BFG 7900GT was running ooooh, about 10/20Mhz too slow - nothing really, but did fix this using a method similar to the above.

Mine is running d&d online, at 1920x1200 with every option set to max, high q textures etc. Not a slow down ever (except the connection speed when entering taverns)

Awesome card.
