View Full Version : Vista ultimate x64 OEM - problems?

Bought this the other day, and try as I might, I can't find any problems with it on my system - I didn't even need to install gfx drivers to play DDO/LOTRO (though I have since updated them)

/sigh, whats the world coming to - i'll be out of a job at this rate.

aaahhh, poor you
i got plenty of problems
1.wanadoo/orange/freeserve livebox doesnt have vista support , so no wireless for me
2.cant find vista drivers for my motherboard on dfi website
3.not all my games will work on it

and linux is free.

1. - solved by having half decent isp/router
2. - solved by waiting for driver support BEFORE you bought vista
3. - solved by playing other games

yeah :) ill take the plunge when dx10 game arise. so i can use my g80 :)
gonna go home premium :)
whats better over that with ultimate?

ultimate is to premium what pro is to xp home

you get a moving background, thats about it - bitlocker requires a TPM, which you probably don't want (i have yet to make up my mind on those)

other things i am still meddling with, in between everything else
