I have doubts regarding the excellence of said beard. In fact, I believe it to be a very mediocre beard.....and mediocre beards get no discount.

Also, some retailers are recieving a mixture of panels. There is an 'S' and an 'A' panel. A is the inferior panel and is most complained about. Do you know if the stock you will be recieving have the 'S' panel?

There is an 'S' and an 'A' panel. A is the inferior panel and is most complained about.

This was only true of the original launch units supplied in the US.

They now actually use four different panel types, but there is no way of knowing which without opening the set.

The early versions had a menu option which told you which was fitted but that no longer works, and the S, A, C, K & N on the rating label which did indicate panel type now relate to something completely different.

At the end of the day though, it's an excellent monitor, and if your unlucky enough to get a bad one, Samsung's warranty process is quick and painless.
