I have loaded Windows Vista Home Premium on a Novatech nForcer PC.
I don't have access to broadband. I have tried two conexant internal PCI 56k modems - one is an HSF modem and the other an HCF modem. The HSF modem does not work at all and the HCF modem only works until the next reboot, at which I get the BSOD and BAD_POOL_CALLER alert. I then have to reboot 'last known working configuration' to regain boot. I then lose the modem drivers.
Does Vista not support dialup modems or is there really a working Vista compatible modem driver out there?
