subscribed threads notification

is it possible to be notified in the forum about subscribed threads, instead of waiting for the email to go through and be opened.

maybe if the pm system was improved then sending a pm might work.

or just having some thing pop up when you change pages some thing could tell you but i understand this will be difficult.

"Quick Links, Subscribed threads". Although you have to do that manually and check if there is any new posts.
