I've had a while where I was getting constant BSOD in Win 7 due to an incompatible LAN driver.

But I've not encountered this new one yet.

What do you do if it happens then? Anyone found a solution?

A simple reboot seems to fix it. At the most, remove the hotfix.

I've not fielded any phone calls or emails for this issue so it can't be all that prevelant *touch wood*

Well I'm off for some Microsoft training in London tomorrow so if what you say is true then it's Stevo-o's problem :xgrin:.

Indeed, Windows 7 is a great OS, the best so far.

Aw, man! A computer that never crashes would be very dull indeed! :xwink:

This seems to be one of those awful scare stories that serves as publicity for a software company. In this case PrevX. "Millions of computers at risk!"

Fahgeddaboudid! :xgrin:

Well no, my computer has enough problems as it is lolz.

i just prefer to have an OS that is stable, Windows XP shall remain the best in my books.

Win 7 is VERY stable. More so than XP in my mind. I kid you not Oscar, it's a huge improvement on XP. At least see if you can still get an RC version to play with for free.

My Dad was a Jazz pianist and taught me as a child. We always had an old piano until I left home.
