If I add a hard drive does anything else need up grading?
Or do I just buy a hard drive, install and off I go?

Was looking at the http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/spec ... 79s326&P=1 (http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?sg-79s326&P=1). Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320GB SATA II 7200rpm 16Mb Cache 11ms 300Mb/s .

But as I'm still finding my feet with computer tech language I'm not sure what to look out for, as in what would be compatible to my system.

Here is a link to my specs http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/docu ... 88&lang=en (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00378480&lc=en&cc=uk&dlc=en&product=502396&rule=37388&lang=en) if this helps.

Thanks

in a disk you should look for reliability, avarege read and write speed and also data transfure rate down the line.

reliable = Westan Digital.
read and write speed eg raptors and also raid's eg raid 0 or raid 0 + 1

ok, SATA II for you is a waste of time and money as your board will not support the extra speed down the line even though you dont gane anything by it anyways. Get Some fast Westan Digital drives.
