Does anybody have any reccomendations of any audio editing software as im in need of some but havent a clue where to start

what do you want to do with it
(duh edit audio)
but to do what, mix songs, edit peoples voices etc?

mostly mixing songs and voice overs and that sort of malarchy

Ableton Live is good for mixing.
Adobe Audition is good for editing

but you know why they employ a load of muppets dont you, cos if they employed people who knew what they were talkin about then they would end up with less sales cos we would point out how much more money it costs to buy **** from pc world

yeah lol, although i think there prices have come down, the 8500gt i saw there was the same price as scan.co.uk and the laptop was an ok price.

i worked there and a couple of the guys that worked there were better than me.

there is a learning curve to jobs like that, not everyone can just assume one of their roles and know everything.

Hey! i have an 80 year old great uncle with a 42" hd sony 5.1 surround sky hd a pretty quick computer and he can still use it well and we cant do any worse than the 16 year old muppets
