sorry the the long response, i am at the bios at the MEMORY TIMMING AND VOLTAGE tab, i got three options memory clock mode, when i am in manual mode, it brings up a ''memclock value'' which is set at 200mhz, then there is DRAM timing mode and memory overvoltage, where do i go from here
edit: this is my am3 build as in the sig

well i would say the memvalue is the key, increase that a bit and try to boot and see what happens.
if it fails reset cosmos, if it boots test it.
(I've never over clocked a am3)

if your motherboard supports over clocking then no reason why you can't try, though over clocking memory give <5% increase in performance.

In my experience overclocking RAM safely and effectively is harder than overclocking CPUs and GPUs. Often there really isnt the headroom to make it worthwhile. Maximum overclock I've managed to get on my RAM is from 800 to 888mhz, after some trial and error. Capacity is the thing your gonna notice most, rather than some small increase in frequency.
That's my thought, anyway...
