If you have a network and share drives/folders/files across it and you have installed Kaspersky Internet Security or Firewall then you might find that suddenly all of your shares stop working.
To re-enable them you need to do the following:
Locate and double-click the Kaspersky system tray icon - located at the bottom right of the screen near the date/time.
Ensure that you are on the My Protection tab to the left - if not then click on it
Click on System and applicaitons
Ensure that you are on the System Security icon on the left - if not then click on it
Click on Firewall
Click on the Settings... button to the top right
Click on the Networks tab
Locate your network adapter in the list
Click on the [+] next to it so it becomes a [-] sign
You'll now find your router/network listed under the network adapter
Right-click on the router/network
Click on Local Network
Click OK twice
Click Close
Close the Kaspersky window
Your network shares should now work.
