Morning guys,
I built and run a website for my other half's hockey team, general stuff like results, league tables etc..

Received this email this morning:

Dear Site Owner,

My name is Kimberly Nelson and I am sending you this email on behalf of my client, a successful online gaming operator.

I discovered your website a few days ago and believe that your site and that of my client are closely related. Because my client is currently seeking advertising partnerships, I thought to contact you.

We offer a generous compensation package that we believe you will find amenable. If interested, please respond at your earliest convenience.

Best regards,
Kimberly Nelson

What do you guys think of this? It came from an ibibo.com email address.

Cheers.

agreed, expecially as it says nothing about your site or the advert, so it could apply to any website, most likely spam and if it's legit it's probably a **** advert

Well, I won the lottery today, which is odd as I don't buy tickets. I also was asked to help a poor Nigrian lady smuggle several million US Dollars. Oh and Facebook has a new Login system, all you have to do is enter your details into a site.

Yes indeed, not to my personal email, I don't really get any spam in that. I have to delete about 50-100 spam emails per day from a support inbox.

plus some of the dodgy spammy posts some people make as well ;)
