How long do you have to return a drive?
I bought a Samsung burner basically because there was no Liteon ones in stock :(. I'm not up novatech way very often so I wanted to leave with something. To cut a long story short its absolutely rubbish.

I'll sum it up for you.
It burns a disc...It can't read a disc it just burnt.
Even my broken NEC reads the disc!

if its within 28 days from purchase if you contact tech support for a returns number it should be ok to return the drive for refund or swap it for a different drive.

if its over 28 days it would need to come in for test and be sent to the manufacturer for repair or replacement.
