wahey,
i've finally ordered one of the much hyped x-fi cards
i got the extreme gamer and x-fi xmod (for my upcoming HTPC build).
ill post pics when they arrive (thursday).

but to be honest , unless u are into the high end audio , the more expensive cards are a total waste of money , i still got my Audigy 2 ZS card , does the job

Im just going to stick with my onboard 5.1.

ill let you know the difference. i only got a mid end card. but ive got 5.1 200w system, which my sound card doesnt support coz i got an ext decoder so it needs a bit stream.
should come 2moz, ill tell you how both compare.

Yeah the striker came with a good enuf sound card for me, most of my gameplay is donr with headphones on anyway!!

does anyone know? i cant be bothered to remove my old one but on a certain song im getting dreadful feedback which i didnt before (on my x-fi :D).
