great TV, brilliant for Xbox football etc. Just one major problem, the backlight is sooooo bright, if you are watching a move (low light, lights off etc) anything black or just dark is completely washed out. This is particularly bad in the top left corner.

You can of course turn down the brightness and contrast, but even this isn't sufficient and PQ suffers overall as a result.

Is there a 'hidden' menu to adjust the backlight brightness, or is this an engineer thing?

I have searched and asked everywhere for the "key combo" to bring up a Technician menu for Atec tv's, but haven't been able to find an answer anywhere.
I even emailed Atec, but didn't get an answer (didn't think I would to that question :lol: )

Anyone else know?

My 32" is also a little bright in the top left corner, although not too bad, I can live with it.
