Been having serious problem with x15GT. Took it back to novatech and got a call today.The guy said Hard drive bust and looks like main board is bust. He wants to send it to suppliers for repair quote or replace.
Novatech charge £37 to look at it and refund this off the repair bill if you go ahead with repairs. But he said it would usually take 28 days but will be longer with christamas period.
The laptop cost me £500 20 mths ago. Its has a core 2 duo processor 2gb ram and an nvidia graphice card. Although i never played 3D games on it only foorball manager.
Does it sound like i could be looking at a few hundred £'s to sort this? Should i cut my loses and buy new. I would prob only spend £350-£400 this time cos i don't think i really needed the graphics card really. It was only used for internet and copying the odd cd/dvd and footy manager
