looking for Linux drivers for my Linksys WMP54G PCI wireless card,

am kinda disappointed there is no Linux drivers for Linksys products when some unbranded cards do support it.

I am using latest Ubuntu, a quick google search shows there are some workaround but need something for a complete Linux noob...

I think a workaround is your only hope.

agreed.

ndiswrapper is your only real hope for cards that aren't supported 'out the box'.

you won't be able to use any fancy network managers but it does the job.

I did post some instructions on it around here somewhere
