Afternoon all,
Hope you had a fine Christmas!
I bought an x60r from Novatech a year and a half ago, and it's been an amazing laptop for Computer Aided Design work etc. (This is the much newer version that's being sold at the moment: http://forum.novatech.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7771&highlight=x60r).
Though there's been a problem.
After booting the laptop the screen competely freezes and the sound also cuts out. The length of time it takes increases since it was last used. It's a problem I've had before, and I fixed it before by opening it up, blowing the dust out and letting it air out (most curious?).
This time though, that doesn't seem to fix it. I've had a few friends look at it, and we all suspect an overheating connection between the graphics & sound cards and the motherboard is to blame? It seems like a strange problem.
Any suggestions as to what the problem may be or any solutions would be brilliant!
Thank You!
