i know why my probe isnt working..

when i goto install the new version, it thinks the old one is still installed, even though it is not and all the files are deleted, so it cant install the new one.
How do i stop it from thinking an old version is there?

the files may not be there, but the registry entries may still be there
go run
REGEDIT
ctrl+F
the name of the file
delete every one
or get a registry cleaner

tried a couple of reg cleaners, to no avail.
ill get the missing file of my bro's machine and try that?

misssing file is asunishlp.dll, which i cannot find on my bro's machine.
Searched the registry, nothing there either.
Any more ideas?

actually, it only came via them (and a distributor) from asus :D

hit google if i were you, sounds like a very specific problem.

is it still there in add/remove progs?

i have posted in asus, but i dont know if email notifications on so i need to check that.
