Upgrade cpu

I currently have an AMD athlon xp processor which is running at 1.24 and I am looking to upgrade it to something a lot faster. I am not to worried about price but I want to know is what proccessors can I use instead of this.

What you can uprade to will depend on what mainboard you have as this will only support certain cpu's. On top of this i guess you have socket A cpu and these are no longer made so getting something to fit your current system will be very hard to do. You may need to upgrade more than just CPU.
