I've not heard of anything. I know there are trickle chargers available when you're on the move with a laptop.

Found this (http://www.gosolar.u-net.com/Portable_solar_power_systems.htm) from a quick google search.

General PCs draw more power than technology allows to be generated or gained in an effective way.

That looks pro, it would prob take 50 of them to power the simplest of pc's

even if you lived in a hot country, you need a battery to store the power for the time being, cant just feed solar power directly to a PC.

Some countries like Israel have houses with solar panels on the roof.

if lower power is an issue, a PC based on a mini ITX (motherboard is about 7 inches by 7 inches) with a laptop CD drive and 2.5 hard disk, this will use less than 60 watts, lots of people use these boards in car PCs.

I live in a shared house with 4 other blokes, if you are worried about your electricity bill, get low power light bulbs for your house - the Tescos next to Novatech do low energy (20w instead of 100w) light bulbs for £2, this could cut your power consumption by 75% for lighting.
