Whenever I boot up, I get...

Verifying DMI Poot Data.........
Boot from CD:
Invalid Operating System!

I also get...

MBR Error 1

I was trying to dual boot with OS Selector from Acronis and I deactivated it, causing this.... and I'm not sure how to undo this... Basically it can't find the hard drive. How do I make it find it - the HDD is partitioned right now :S - into three.

My Novatech PC didn't come with an XP disc.... GRRRR!! Can I get one from Novatech? XP Pro was pre-installed.

ALSO
Is it possible to take the hard drive out and see if it will work on another computer?? would I then be able to do something that way? i.e. keep the data.

If you bought XP preinstalled from us you would have got an XP recovery CD. If you cannot find this please speak to our customer service team about getting a replacement

Try Fixmbr (http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/bootcons_fixmbr.mspx?mfr=true) from the Recovery Console (http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_overview.mspx) on the XP CD.

Edited for bad link

I can't get to the recovery console because Windows won't start "No OS Found!" and I don't have a Recovery CD right now!

Will contact Novatech ASAP!

Do you have a Windows XP CD?

Read the guide HERE (http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/recovery_console_overview.mspx). This will show you how to use it. (Bad link in 1st post).

a recovery disk is being sent. the recovery disk will wipe the hdd and install a clean copy of windows. unfortunately there is no recovery option.

I'm not bothered - I would quite like a fresh install! - I've recovered my files.

If anyone's interested in how I did it - a REALLY great way is to download WINDOWS XP LIVE EDITION - it can run from a CD-ROM and you can basically rescue ALL your files!! I am sooo glad I found it and would recommend it to anyone who's PC won't start up properly!

Send me a PM for more info.
