Hi guys,

i got a Samsung 940BW from you guys about 6-8 months ago and was using it with no problmes from the DVI slot on an old Saphire Radion 9550 (ATI).

I have reacently built a new system with an nvidia 8800GTS installed. and moved the samsung TFT to that pc, however the screen resolution seem's to have defaulted to a non wide screen preset (around the 1000x1200 range i cant remember the exact numbers) thus making the diplay seem out of focus when i set my resolution to the recomended 1440x900.

I am using a the DVI socket on the TFT as i was with the ATI Card. if i bring up the OSD and flick to the information page i am told my screen is set to the standerd (1000x1200 ish) resolution.

I have installed the drivers from the cd and also downloaded the latest drivers from the samsung website (both version 1.0) with no luck.

anyone have any ideas about how i can solve this very annoying problem. this blurry screen is starting to hurt my eyes!

So windows is set to one resolution but your monitor is running at a completely different resolution to the one set in windows display properties?

Am i reading that right?
