Hi I have an Isys pro core 2 duo desktop and a Fujitsu Siemens laptop, a Belkin F5D7231uk4 router and use NTL/VIRGIN MEDIA for my broadband connection (2mb). Apart from the dektop which is abut 9 months old the rest is 2 years old. Up untill a couple of weeks ago everything was perfect then suddenly I lost all wireless connection but can still connect with ethertnet cable. The first thing I did was to re-install everything on the laptop, but no joy then a few days later the wirless started to work again but only for a day. My laptop finds the router but will not connect although it will connect to my neighbours router. My desktop have a BT voyager wireless card and this cannot even find the router. I purchased a Linksys router but this did not work so changed it for an ADDON WBR9200 both from Novatech this did not work either only with ethernet. I was wondering if the problem could be the modem/set top box supplied from NTL, could this possibly stop the routers from working. I hope someone can offer some sollution to this problem as it has totally baffled me, the next thing I will try is to have the Virgin media V+ box installed and see if the problem is still there.

:? Just thought I would update my problem, I've noticed a good few people have read my post but as of yet no solution. Yesterday for no apparent reason my wireless internet connection decided to work again, without any intervention from me it just started to work, it is still at this moment active with an excellent signal but who knows what will happen tomorrow.
