ok so this got me thinking:

FWIW, the Corsair TX750W and the OCZ StealthXStream are both made by Channel Well aka CWT, as it goes. I'd be careful what I conclude about brands from a couple of (regrettable) solder shorts...;)

List of original power supply manufacturers.

so is it possible for novatech to get some of the oem psu's and sell them cheaper then the branded ones as there the same guts just with out the big branding of corsair and co?

in short get the oem psu's and sell cheaper then branded ones of the same model?

good idea (Y) the only problem with Oems is that (i think) they have much shorter warranties and even the best PSUs break once in a while..

The PSU's i have are all OEM's and they're touch and go. while i've never had one destroy any components, i have had one where the fan had stopped working and one of them just stopped for no reason... but yhea, they're fine for everyday people and great if your building a pc for just web browsing.

im not talking about low end OEM's i mean high end OEM's like most branded psu's are re branded OEM's so im trying to cut out the branding and the cost of branding.
