new pc wanted. help needed please.

Heya guys.

Im pretty much skint and my psu messed up, which melted (yes melted) my Gpu,and means ive had too stick in an old psu and de-overclock? my processor, which is trash to begin with, so i need something new.
Im looking at spending around £500 inc os (lucky me with the heaps of cash too spend :P)

Only i really am looking at getting a gtx250 eq or better, and maybe even an sli compatable motherboard for future upgrades if it can be managed, im not too fussed if its prebuilt or i need to build it myself.

Such a tight budget is making me see problems everywhere i look, always having too compromise somewhere..but i just dont know what too compromise with...

If you guys could give me some ideas of what im realisticly looking at id be gratefull :)

The ones around £500 are pretty superior. The Brawler catches my eye. Very good AMD crossfire motherboard and will overclock. Good case and power supply too.

The only £499+ machine I'd duck there is the Rage, because it has weakish graphics and only one graphics slot.

agree there are some pretty nifty systems in the clearance area atm.. some are even cheaper than you could make yourself due to ram prices...
