Hello, I am planning to sell my old computer now, it is still resionably good, it has a Pentium D 915, 2.8ghz with 4mb cache, 1gb ram ect...
I am planning to sell my computer to a mate as he is looking to buy a new one anyway and this one will do him fine.
But I mainly need to know, for my next computer would it be better if I just get another Pentium D and stick with it or should I rather save up the little extra cash and get a C2D?
I would also like to know, what one is better for Overclocking (people say that the C2D is better for overclocking because it runs at much lower temps, makes sence) and can you please give me a little advice on what C2D to get, I am looking in the region of £140 - £150 MAX!
For the new processor I am going to probably overclock it when it becomes too slow, I know it isn't a good thing to do but it will save me having to buy a new processor for a while. What sort of cooler do you recommend me getting for it (apart from Watercooling!!)

Thanks for your help :D

Thanks but can some one tell me what sort of cooler to get for them? I was thinking of getting the new CoolerMaster Mars, it looks really good and also has good specs :)

Yeah I have the mars its a good cooler, or the thermaltake v1 is also pretty good. Defo go for the e6600 as it is still the best cpu out there for future proofing.
