I bought my good lady a V14 at Christmas and the only complaint I have is that the notification area icons keep filling up with hundreds of copies of the same icon. It is a small laptop with a red crossed out circle over the top. Can anbody help me identify what it is and how i can stop it?? It's driving me mad.

Looking in Cntrol Panel>Notification Area Icons - it is identified as Hotkey v3.0013

I can't LMB or RMB on the icons and when I hover the mouse over them they disappear, but new ones keep appearing...

Here are a couple of screendumps, one showing the notification area with all the icons in it, the other form the control panel.

Try and find the program/driver that creates it, and reinstall it..?

I could do that - but I want to find the cause and stop it, not just hide it
