If you have just installed new memory to your system and are experiencing windows stop errors or instabilities.

This can be caused by faulty memory, good test program can be found from the following link.

Download Memtest (http://www.memtest86.com/memtest86-3.2.iso.zip)

Memtest is a bootable utility. This means that it does not load up within the Windows environment. To run any bootable utility you will need to burn a disc image, this is done in the following way:

Download Memtest from the above link

Extract the file : 'memtest86-3.2.iso.zip'

This will create a file called : 'memtest86-3.2.iso'. This is the image that you will need to record, or burn, on to a CD-r.

CD image burning varies depending on the software you use and requires a standalone application to do. Windows built in CD writer cannot burn a disc image.

Click here (http://www.govideo.com/Index.asp?GV=CDWriteHelp) for a guide on burning a disc image using the most popular software.

Once the CD is created you should leave the disc in the drive and restart your PC. It should then boot from the CD, starting the memory check process. If prompted 'Press any key to boot from CD...' follow this instruction.

We recommend that you run a memory check for as long as possible, around 1.5-2 hours will give you a good idea if there is any fault, although some errors can be intermittant or heat related and take longer to become apparent.

Obviously, if a fault is found immediately there is no need to continue testing and you should contact us for a return reference number.
