My old man has recently bought a second hand Sony Vario and (amongnst other things) was hoping to run Battlefield 2 on it.

It has installed, click start and the "splash screen" comes up before dropping to desktop (BF2 now not running)

All the info I have at the moment is:

Im assuming this is not capable of running BF2 ?

Ive asked for him to send me his DXdiag file and ill post that when I get it

Any thoughts ?

Cheers

TB

Is say no to that just because I hve struggled in the past to get bf2 to run in a semi smooth manor on anything slower than a 9400m or an ati mobility 3450. Both of those have had 2.0ghz core2duo mobile CPUs with 4gb of ram so from that is say the gpu is a none starter.
