Window Dump Error

Can anyone tell me the solution of windows dump error, I use Windows Vista and sometimes my laptop get turn off showing windows dump error with blue screen, I knew there is some patch for that to stop error coming up, but i cant remember it, so i thought i should ask in the forum, someone might know and can sort of help me..

does the error ever show you something like this:

***STOP: 0X00000008E(0XC0000090, 0X004B4BD8, 0XEE25885C, 0X00000000)

(just one example of many error messages)

Indeed, it would help to know what the error says as there are many causes of the Blue Screen Of Death. The error codes can help identify the issue.

Unfortuatly Windows Vista is unstable(windows vista home premium is the most stable out of the vista, but it still is unstable) dont worry ive had the same come up with me. Its nothing to worry about(it only becomes a problem if it happends more than once)

No disrespect but that is not true. Vista sp1/2 is very stable indeed. The issue suggests a hardware problem.

I have been running vista for 18 months now with no problem at as SD has said the service packs sorted alot of the problems out.It is still fine today and I love it if im honest.
