XP Hme with Service Pack 2 Freezes on Xp splash screen

Hi folks
Any clues for me on this one?
Took delivery of a Revo Max T2350 yesterday, installed XP Home with service pack 2, went all the way through install with no problems and just as the XP splash comes up with the moving blue lines it freezes.
Then sits there doing nothing.
I can get into safe mode and bios but thats it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

please call technical support on monday it sounds like we may need to get this laptop back here for test but wont know till we speak to you
