X38 chipset

i am looking forward to buying a X38 chipset motherboard in September.

just wonder what are the estimated date for Novatech to have them in stock?

so i can plan how to spend the money i've got left during October.

At the moment it is slated for August / September. However these things can slip at the last minute so until we get confirmation from board manufacturers it is going to be hard to say exactly when we will have stock.

how fast can you guys lay your hands on a new product? can you usually get it the day it releases? (eg, i heard Asus's mobo are great at overclocking)

by the way. can i order a product, then leave it in Fast Track, and collect separate orders together? how long can i left a product in FastTrack? (eg, i see your Tt Toughpower 700w Cable managment is out of stock, as soon as it's back in stock, can i order now, and then pick up in September? )

Fast track orders once complete will only be held for 2 working days. If you do not collect in this time then this product will be released for other customer to order. However if you have everything on the same order the 2 days will not start until the whole order is allocated.

We use to hold items for longer periods but we had issues with customers ordering items and then never coming to get them and because we don't take any money until you actually come and collect this was not fair on customers who wanted the item but could not have one cause they were being held up. So now we only hold for 2 days.

However if for example your goods became avaliable on a Monday but you could not get to us till the Saturday then we would hold your goods but you would need to phone our sales staff up and let them know your coming in to collect at the weekend. However the kind of time your asking us to hold it may not be possible. The only thing i can think of here is phone up and speak to one of our sales team and see if they can arrange something for you.

As for how fast we can get the product. Well that all depends on how quickly supplys reach the UK. We can get stock of product next Day from UK Distribution but only once the product has reached UK Distribution channel and we have no control over that.

thanks for the quick reply. i never used fast track, so didn't know that you pay on collection.

and also thanks for the info. i'll be keeping a close eye on the X38 release date. and will buy from you guys.
