What sort of Network cable do I need?

Hello, I got a wireless router but I want to connect it through a cable. I want to connect my PS2 up to the router for Online play, what sort of cable do I need? Also, will I be able to connect to the router using that type of cable if I was on my laptop, the wireless connector broke so Im sticking with cable connection for now.

Please tell me what sort of cable I need, is it a Crossover cable or just a normal CAT5E patch cable?

You should need just a normal straight through CAT5 cable.
