Asus Striker Motherboard shut down when installing windowsxp

i have just got the asus striker motherboard and when i try to install the windows xp it loads the blue screen and after 20 seconds(it checks the files and b4 starting the windows) it shut the whole pc and i don't know why .


can anyone help me with such issue.

i am using a the follwing components

2gb crosair sli ready ram
asus en 8600 graphic card
pentium 4 ht 3.2 ht ready
western digital sata 160 gb
dvd writer lg
