just built a system with a the motherboard asus ASU-A8N32D, alarm keeps going off,telling me its too hot, i aint over clocked it,or anything else im running it with a amd x2 4200 prosessor 4 fans and every things telling me it aint too hot any suggestions hopefully will help

Is the heatsink sitting right, is there enough thermal paste, is there too much thermal paste

checked the fan and its fine,and its running between 37-40 depending on whats running,so im a bit stuck

just checked the temps again the mobo at 38 and the cpu at 37


any ideas chaps

Check the BIOS to see if there's a setting that sets off an alarm at a certain temperature. Change or disable it if your certain it's giving a false reading.
