Nothing like the smell of freshly made PCB boards :) Should be a good section, would probably be a good idea to update a thread here with all the Motherboards, RAM etc used in the Nova bundles and systems. Would save a lot of hassle as there are many threads asking them questions and what coolers are on these batches of GPUs. Good idea KP

I had a customer build an i3 based HTCP a while back. Got an phonecall as he was waiting on an out of stock graphics card. Phoned to say he didn't need it.
He says it is the awesome. The onboard graphics on the i3 chip is good enough for 2 1080p streams at once ^_^

it's just too bad that only nvidia cards have support for decent hardware acceleration in linux (XBMC etc) but yeah, the i3/i5 gfx is essentially X4500HD (plus a bit) so HD decoding under windows is a breeze :) (with the right codecs of course)

How much do you charge for custom builds by the way? I know it's fun to DIY, but if it aint that much more for you guys to build it.... Because I am seriosuly impressed with the build I've recently got from you.

Nice to see a happy ending :)
It'd be quite good to offer more selection in prebuilts, go one step forther than people like dell and allow people to customise coolers, cases and even motherboards

As far as I know that is in the works (I think I remember KPKP mentioning a web tool being made). Don't quote me though as it may still not happen.
In the mean time if you want a from scratch custom build, PM me or email adam.hayter AT novatech.co.uk and I will get Amy to generate the request and we can run it through production. Labour cost would be about £50.

can we discuss the products in this section and suggest improvements and or identify weaknesses and strengths?
or do we have to create a new thread in the pre built section?
