Quick hello, and a whinge!

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a new forum and this one looks good. Hello all :)

Now the whinge ... I've been a long time member of the OCUK forum and have just been banned for a week for apparantly trashing a post in the Members Market. Some guy was selling a second hand Mass Effect 2 for £20 and I mentioned that it might be worth reducing his price as it can be bought new for £17.99. And there we go ... banned. Apparantly, some free advice on a more realistic pricing structure so that A) he had a better chance of selling his game and B) making sure that no other member was inadvertantly ripped off (I for one would rather a new game for less than a second hand one that might be tied to a steam account) is grounds for extreme prejudice ...

Am I being unreasonable?

here we are strict in the selling market and regularly posts are removed if they break the rules. advice on pricing was a problem so we set up the price check section, this allowed prices to be checked and previews of what will be sold.

I did the same thing with a DVD, didn't get banned though, just got the post removed with no reasoning. Confuses me how people can't accept advice? Especially admins/mods when it isn't even their items to not accept critisicm on!

Some forums are just like that ulgh.

I use to be quite an active member on videoforums before untill i rained on a mods thunder. Apparently i was bullspiitting about the difference between a dual and a quad core pc or something. i dunno.

I like the smaller little forums tbh with 20 members, great fun, great communities but the spam bots always get in there :( this place is nice though.
