need some advice on the processer whats the diff between quad and duo?

quad has 4 processors in a single cpu package, duo has 2 processors in a single cpu package.
If your building it that much later then i would wait until closer to the date to start choosing stuff to buy.
Newer AMD stuff should be out this year, hopefully, and same as intel

was thinking of sitting back and waiting 4 the war between amd and pent,i have always had amd but like the speed of pents at the mo as i am a hardcore gamer :D

if you can wait, then give it a couple of months, and keep your ear to the ground. thats what im doin, i just want a 3ghz AMD x2, cos im a AMD fan boy, but AMD X4's are coming soon.

Another thing holding me back is me wanting a 360 and halo 3

errr dont go there with the 360s,selling my kids 1 because it has died 2 times now[red ring of death] thats y i am building another pc, i have a x2 amd 4400+ it runs ok but not as good as this new baby i am gonna build :D
also have a x1950 xt,2 gig dual channel cossair,hiper type r psu,and a tsunami dream case :D

and runs very smoothly, my max tv res is 1024*768, so nothing stresses my system enough for me to upgrade

Go for the microsoft/razer £24.99 from nova we got 1 here very nice better than our mx518's and cheaper!!!
I know i keep thinking about a 24" monitor but the 32" tv always seems so much better lol

i have a trust gaming mouse also from nova which was £15 and that is good and i really cant see the diff between a 24" monitor and a 32" tv i mean the textures on games just get too blotchy 2 keep up with the res @ higher 1's so 1080 is fine
