thinking of getting a pair of these to increase my system's performance, can these be recommended by anyone??

wat mobo do u have cos they r ddr sticks so mite not be compatable

motherboard is a

K7 Triton series GA-7VT600 (-L)

hope that helps jdowall as i'm still learning about the compatibility issue of things while trying to upgrade my current sysytem :oops:

Yeah that board supports ddr 400 ram probably would go for the cheapest set of ram you can dont spend too much on a really old system, as new parts are so much cheaper than the backward technology and you do a complete rebuild for the less than a small upgrade on older system.

i am looking @ upgrading the motherboard in due course but a simple RAM upgrade is suffient for my means at the moment,

yeah it can make a big difference to a system.
