Hi,

Man is this software causing grief or what!!!!!!

It was installed by a foolish action and now it cannot be removed and keeps popping its head up frequently much to my annoyance.

I have:

Removed the printer, printer software including driver.
Removed all entries from MSCONFIG startup tab.
Removed all traces of everything HP from my C:
Removed all entries of everything HP (printing wise) from my registry

but alas the software popup still appears.

I understand from the HP website that the software relates to all HP products and not just printers but this is worse than spyware.....how do I get rid, once and for all?

Anyone had any experience with this and managed to clear the issue?

Hi,

I had this problem with my hp lappy, i tried everything you have too get rid off it, i trawled the internet looking for answers there are pages and pages on this problem, their were lots off suggestion that worked for some, but hp have been next too useless on this.

In the end i did a fresh install off xp, but i did not use the hp drivers disc, i let microsoft update find them or went too the hp website and downloaded them.

I did find for a while this worked but not for long.

1. Ctr - Alt - Delete
2. End all HP tasks
3. apply .

I understand this is probably not what you want too hear, but it was the only way i could get rid off it.

I forgot to say I had run the MSI cleanup tool and the so called solution on HPs website without success. Im thinking clean install.
